Registered Veterinary Technician

More specific to the role of Registered Veterinary Technician, you'll develop the technical skills and confidence to manage patient care in emergency situations, surgical procedures, and hospitalized cases. You'll develop communication and leadership skills through team huddles, anesthesia rounds, and organization of daily workflow amongst the technical staff.

Summer Positions 2025 - April/May to August
1)Barn Staff
We are looking for a candidate to join our team as a Seasonal Barn Staff. This position is essential for maintaining the daily operations of our barn, ensuring the well-being of our patients, and supporting the overall veterinary clinic. Duties include daily feeding, watering, and horse turn-out. Mucking and disinfecting stalls and maintaining cleanliness of our barn are also essential aspects of this position. The hours are 8:20am-12:00pm Monday through Friday. This position has been filled for 2025!
2)Repro Staff:
These team members will be assigned duties in the breeding shed and in the barn. Duties are primarily farm labour, catching and holding breeding mares for examination, handling stallions, feeding and care of the horses including cleaning stalls, farm maintenance and yard work, housekeeping and daily clean up of the clinic. These positions have been filled for 2025!
3)Evening Staff:
Duties include helping with end of day duties in the clinic, helping with after hours treatments on in clinic cases and emergencies, housekeeping and daily clean up of the clinic, and sterilization of equipment and instruments. This position has been filled for 2025!
