Dr. Lauren Friedl, DVM

Dr. Friedl is currently in equine practice in Alberta.

Dr. Lauren Friedl grew up in Brant County, Ontario where she spent most of her free time helping out around her family’s hobby horse farm. Her mother introduced her to horses at a young age and kick started her love for animals. Lauren dabbled with hunter jumpers before moving to dressage with her diamond in the dust horse Henni. During her undergraduate degree Lauren worked as a working student for a grand prix dressage rider while also assisting an equine veterinarian.

In 2017, Lauren jetted off to Melbourne, Australia to complete her DVM degree. During her time in Melbourne, Lauren got the chance to work with some unique animals and also continue strengthening her knowledge in equine medicine. Dr. Friedl enjoys all fields of equine medicine with special interests in reproduction and ambulatory medicine. When not at the clinic, she enjoys spending her time outdoors hiking, rock climbing, rollerblading or at the gym.
