Dr. Jessica Semper, DVM

Dr. Semper is currently in general practice on Vancouver Island.

Dr. Jessica Semper first discovered her passion for horses when her family moved to a rural area outside of Nanaimo, BC on Vancouver Island. After completing her Bachelor of Science majoring in biology at Vancouver Island University, she was accepted to the Western College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in June 2017 with great distinction prior to starting her internship at Burwash. Practice interests include the variety of challenges that come with general equine practice, but she is particularly interested in neonatal foal care and management of horses involved in endurance sport.
