Heather Thomas

Heather grew up in Calgary, and as many do, fell in love with horses at a young age. She has spent over twenty years trying out different disciplines including dressage and reining but her real passion is out on the trails.

She spent the last six years on Vancouver Island where she graduated with a Bachelors degree in Political Science from the University of Victoria and completed several veterinary technician courses while working at small animal veterinary clinics. Heather is so excited to be a part of the Burwash team and continue to learn about our equine companions.

When not at work she loves to hang out with her Arabian horse, explore the outdoors with her partner, and hang out with her two cats.
